How to take Care of your Natural Stones?
Your stones are more than just materials — they carry energy, intention, and a piece of your journey. Over time they can absorb energy from you and your surroundings. Taking care of them helps keep them both physically and energetically balanced.
To perserve their beauty and quality
- Avoid water exposure, especially for softer stones
- Keep away from perfume, lotions, salt water, and other chemicals
- Store them safely in a soft pouch or seperate compartiment
- Handle gently to prevent scratches or damage
Good care helps your jewelry stay with you longer, just as it was meant to.
Cleansing, discharging & recharging your crystals
When worn often, crystals are believed to hold onto energy from daily life. That’s why many people choose to cleanse and reset them from time to time.
Discharging
This is about releasing built-up energy so the stone feels “clear” again. You can do this by:
- Leaving your crystals under the light of the full moon
- Passing it through the smoke from incense, sage or Palo Santo
- Blowing forcefully against the stone while you hold it
- Placing it on top of cleansing stones like Selenite and Clear Quartz or in a Abalone Shell
Recharging
After cleansing, you can recharge your stone to reconnect it with fresh energy and intention by:
- Leaving your crystals under the light of the full moon
- Short exposure to sunglight
- Holding it while focusing on what you want it to support
- Placing it on top of a charging stone like Clear Quartz
